About

From the time I was young, I was always creating. Whether it was 3D printing, painting, sculpting, soldering circuit boards, or even building tools like grappling hooks and flamethrowers, I found joy in engineering and design. My earliest projects were wooden swords and weapons—simple forms that reflected my fascination with the beauty and significance of blades, even before I had the skills or tools to work with steel.

Knives became the perfect medium to bring all of my passions together: engineering, design, and artistry, fused into something both functional and stunning. My defining moment came with my first hidden tang chef’s knife, where I achieved a handle with striking bevels and a glasslike finish. That piece showed me my potential, and it set me on the path I walk today.

I officially began making knives two years ago, though the wide range of skills I had built beforehand allowed me to progress quickly into crafting truly exquisite pieces. While I learned a few fundamentals from a friend—like flattening scales and carefully sanding pins—I am otherwise self-taught, driven by a relentless desire to master each new challenge.

While I create both full tang and hidden tang knives, I have a particular appreciation for the elegance of hidden tang designs in both hunting and chef’s knives. Hidden tangs allow for seamless, flowing handles and complex shaping, while full tangs bring a sense of rugged strength and balance. Together, these approaches give me the freedom to pursue both refined artistry and dependable functionality in my work.

When someone owns one of my knives, I want them to feel both complete trust in its reliability and a sense of discovery in the artistry—that every time they look closer, they notice something new in its form. To stand behind my work, I offer free lifetime sharpening; my commitment does not end when the knife leaves my hands.

My vision for NT Knives is not mass production, but one-of-a-kind creations. Each piece is an opportunity to push new boundaries, to learn, and to craft something that is as functional as it is beautiful.
